Does MTD Ledger UK submit directly to HMRC?

No. MTD Ledger UK is a record-keeping and preparation tool. It does not submit VAT, Income Tax Self Assessment or other filings directly to HMRC.

Can I export records for my accountant?

Yes. The app includes CSV export so records can be reviewed outside the app.

What does the Pro accountant pack add?

Pro adds an accountant-ready ledger export, monthly and quarterly summaries, category totals, a suggested filename and a handoff note. It prepares records for review but does not submit them to HMRC.

Is this for full accounting?
